Community Program Hub
Creative economy career pathway programs run by community-based organizations including mentorship programs, career exploration and internship programs, membership organizations, and organizations providing creative economy work-based learning services to individual schools.
*The community program hub is a public platform, open to any Washington-based Creative Economy training organization. CEW-C does not vet or endorse programs listed on the Community Program Hub.

Types of programs
Wheelhouse
We have a mentorship program with an education forum that is targeted at mid-level career creatives that will give them business tools and learnings so they can have successful, sustainable creative careers. This is modeled after the Washington Filmworks mentorship program.
Third Stone / Bumbershoot
Third Stone is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts and education organization founded in Seattle in 2022. We are the heart of Bumbershoot, housing the education program and the main festival event.
TeenTix
TeenTix builds a bright future for our region by empowering young people to take an active role in shaping their arts community as audience members, critics, influencers, advocates, patrons, and leaders. We exist to break down barriers that prevent teens from accessing the arts, career development, and arts learning opportunities and we empower teens to engage in civic life through the arts.
Seattle Symphony
Under the leadership of Music Director Xian Zhang, the Seattle Symphony unleashes the power of music, brings people together and lifts the human spirit. Recognized as one of the “most vital American orchestras” (NPR), the Seattle Symphony is internationally acclaimed for its inventive programming, community-minded initiatives and superb recordings on the Seattle Symphony Media label. With a strong commitment to new music and a legacy of over 150 recordings, the orchestra has won five Grammy Awards, 27 Grammy nominations, two Emmy Awards and was named Gramophone’s 2018 Orchestra of the Year. The Symphony performs in Benaroya Hall in the heart of downtown Seattle from September through July, reaching over 750,000 people annually through live performances and radio broadcasts.

Hilltop Artists
Hilltop Artists, based in Tacoma, WA, partners with Tacoma Public Schools to provide free, hands-on glass art education and workforce development programs for youth ages 12–26. Through mentorship, creative expression, and career-connected learning, we help more than 700 students each year develop confidence, resilience, and transferable skills for success in school, work, and life.
Above the Record
Above The Record is a rapidly growing Pacific Northwest music and entertainment company that develops artists, produces live events, and offers music business education. Our mission is to create more jobs in music and entertainment, and by 2026, we aim to become a full-service label providing the infrastructure and partnerships artists need to succeed globally.
Washington Filmworks
Washington Filmworks is the private 501(c)(6) non-profit organization that manages the Motion Picture Competitiveness program as well as a variety of resources for the creative industries in Washington State. Washington Filmworks' mission is to create economic development opportunities by building and enhancing the competitiveness, profile and sustainability of Washington State’s film industry.
Create 48 Media Network
CREATE48 Media Network supports filmmakers through time-based film challenges, mentorship, retreats, podcasts, and community events. We provide resources, hands-on experience, and industry access to help creatives build careers, share stories, and connect with others—all while promoting equity, inclusion, and professional growth in the film and media industry.
The Vera Project
The Vera Project is an all-ages nonprofit space dedicated to fostering personal and community transformation through collaborative, youth-driven engagement in music and art. A music venue, screen print shop, recording studio, art gallery, and safe space for radical self-expression, VERA is a home to Seattle’s creative community.
Youth in Focus
Youth in Focus's mission is to equip youth to share their ideas and values with the world through photography and art. We value photography as a powerful medium of change to create a healthy, vibrant, equitable, and just society. We provide all free programming for south Seattle and Seattle area teens.
