Community Program Hub
Creative economy career pathway programs run by community-based organizations including mentorship programs, career exploration and internship programs, membership organizations, and organizations providing creative economy work-based learning services to individual schools.

Types of programs
Wheelhouse
We have a mentorship program with an education forum that is targeted at mid-level career creatives that will give them business tools and learnings so they can have successful, sustainable creative careers. This is modeled after the Washington Filmworks mentorship program.
Washington Nightlife & Music Association
The Washington Nightlife & Music Association (WANMA) is dedicated to preserving, strengthening, and advocating for Washington’s vibrant music and nightlife industries. By fostering collaboration among independent music venues, industry stakeholders, and community partners, WANMA works to address challenges, promote equity, and ensure the long-term sustainability of our cultural ecosystem. Through research, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives, we empower Washington’s music community to thrive, adapt, and continue enriching the lives of residents and visitors alike.
Washington State Department of Commerce
Commerce strengthens communities and builds healthy economies. The Creative Economy is one of eight key industries in Washington State - industries we dedicate additional resources to, largely because they have the most potential for creating economic wealth and job growth throughout the state in the years to come.
